A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not keep or log those search terms on our systems.

McKean County Criminal History does not maintain, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal-record information. It explains how to reach official custodians, including the McKean County Clerk of Courts, the Sheriff's Office, the Pennsylvania State Police Central Repository, and the Pennsylvania State Police Megan's Law Public Website. Pennsylvania's Criminal History Record Information Act, 18 Pa.C.S. §§ 9101-9183, governs criminal-history information held and disseminated by covered agencies. This private site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party criminal files.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes placed on this site. Information submitted through a box is handled under that provider's privacy policy. Each provider controls its retention and disclosure practices, so review those terms before running a query.
